Based in Albany, Oregon, we are a licensed psilocybin service center authorized by the Oregon Health Authority as of May, 2023. Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive space for individuals seeking to explore their history of suffering and negative beliefs about, self, the world, and others; as well as, to enhance the overall well-being of our diverse clientele and communities.

In 2019, I opened Reclaim Life Mental Health Center. In the years following, we continue to grow as the demand for our services also grows.
As a therapist, I see a lot of pain. Recovery from alcohol abuse or substance use is painful. PTSD and chronic anxiety feel crippling. I could not help but feel as though I could be doing more to help meet our community’s needs to help encourage healing.
In the late 2010s, researchers around the world began publishing research on psilocybin for the first time since the late 60s, thanks to laws beginning to relax across the globe. Paper after paper, the results looked promising.
Stories of people breaking free from substance use after a session with psilocybin became more than simply anecdotes.^1 Researchers are finding the reduction of anxiety in those who have undertaken a psilocybin session last several months.^2
As the research kept coming, I started to really pay attention and contemplate how this could benefit my clients in addition to talk therapy modalities. Oregonians voted to decriminalize psilocybin and legalize the supervised use of the hallucinogenic mushrooms, which went into effect on Jan 1, 2023.
Inner Guidance Services Inc. was licensed five months later on May 15th.
Our Values
Inner Guidance Services Inc. is built by and for people of intersecting diversities of experience and identity.
This includes, but is not limited to, communities experiencing systemic and structural oppression on the basis of race, ethnicity, indigeneity, immigration/refugee status, religion, language, disability, age, gender, sexual/romantic orientation, social class, and low income.
Our staff includes qualified professionals who are trained and experienced in working with the needs of these communities and their intersections. We also provide educational opportunities for service providers to learn gender-affirming care, multicultural and anti-colonialist practice, and other aspects of social justice.
We stand with BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and disabled communities in active advocacy and alliance efforts to uphold human rights, including equitable access to care. We seek to humbly recognize our own biases and positionality with respect to systems of oppression and work to dismantle these at a personal, professional, and societal level.
